Hodess

Perhaps my friend Salim said it best: Hodess and I go way back, I remember when we first met. My undead hordes had battered the forces of light till their backs were to the sea, and all hope was lost. It was then that I met Hodess. Of course he was not then known as Hodess, back then he was Connaucht the Leveler, first Avatar of the Moon Age, and I was Balor the Watcher, third Avatar of the Wind Age. He had risen as Leveler to lead the forces of light to victory. He beat my undead armies back to the Cloudspine, and with my back to the mountain, we clashed, and when our legions had destroyed each other, Connaucht and I had it out, our magics scorching the earth and rending the skies. I took his finger that day, but he buried me a thousand feet below the frozen North Sea, there to wait until the dawn of a new age, when we would be reborn, as Summoner and Leveler, forever to do battle, until there is only darkness.
